Imagine living in constant fear, where every day brings the risk of harm, manipulation, and control. For survivors of domestic and family violence, this is their reality. But finding a way out is just the beginning of their journey to safety.
At Safer Pathways, we recognise that true security doesn’t end with escape—it begins there. The road to healing is long and complex, but with the right support, survivors can regain their independence and rebuild their lives. Your donation makes that possible.
Safety is Just the Beginning
When a survivor escapes domestic and family violence or a child who is rescued from trafficking, they are often left with deep physical, emotional, and financial wounds. They may fear for their safety, be cut off from support systems, and lack the resources to start anew. That’s where Safer Pathways steps in.
We provide critical safety and security services that empower survivors to move forward—not just to survive, but to thrive.
Our Survivor-Centered Services
Our services are tailored to meet the unique and urgent needs of survivors, addressing both immediate risks and long-term security:
Security Vulnerability Assessments & Safety Planning
Every survivor’s situation is unique, which is why we conduct security vulnerability assessments to identify risks and implement tailored safety plans. Whether it’s securing a home, vehicle, or workplace, our experts work to minimise threats and provide survivors with peace of mind.
Security Upgrades for Survivors’ Homes
Survivors often remain at risk even after leaving an abusive situation. We provide physical security upgrades to ensure survivors can live without fear of being found or harmed.
Technology-Facilitated Abuse Prevention
Abusers and traffickers frequently use technology to track, monitor, and manipulate survivors. We conduct comprehensive tech sweeps of homes, vehicles, and personal devices to detect digital threats. Our team also educates survivors on protecting their digital footprint.
Safe Transport & Emergency Relocation
Leaving an unsafe environment requires immediate and secure transportation. We provide safe transport and emergency relocation services, ensuring survivors can reach safety without the risk of being followed or intercepted.
Access to Personal Safety Devices
In high-risk situations, personal safety devices can be life-saving. We distribute discreet, monitored safety devices that allow survivors to call for help at the press of a button, ensuring immediate support in moments of danger.
Legal Support & Advocacy
Navigating the legal system can be overwhelming, especially for survivors facing ongoing threats. We connect survivors with legal advocates who help them secure protection orders and navigate the complex legal system—all while ensuring every step is taken to ensure a victim survivor is not re-traumatized by the process.
Education & Employment Pathways
Safety also means financial independence. Survivors often face barriers to employment due to disrupted education or work history. We offer referrals to our trusted partners-experts in recovery and support who can provide job training, education support, and employment pathways, empowering survivors to regain financial stability and build a secure future.
Community & Corporate Training
To break the cycle of abuse and exploitation, we provide training programs for community organisations, corporations, and nonprofits. These sessions educate professionals on how to recognise and prevent technology-facilitated abuse and support survivors effectively.
Your Support Saves Lives
Every survivor deserves the chance to live free from fear. At Safer Pathways, we ensure that those affected by domestic and family violence or trafficking are safe and empowered.
With your support, we can continue to provide life-changing security services. Donate today and help a survivor take their first steps toward lasting safety and freedom.
How You Can Help Survivors Rebuild Their Lives
Your donation makes it possible for us to provide these life-changing services. Without your support, many survivors would be left without the resources they need to truly recover. Here’s how your donation helps:
$50 can provide a week of psychological counselling for a survivor, helping them begin to process their trauma.
$200 helps cover the cost of legal fees for a survivor seeking justice against their abuser.
$500 provides a month of safe housing and basic needs for a survivor and their children.
Help Survivors Take the Next Step
When you donate to Safer Pathways, you are giving survivors the support they need to take the next step toward safety, healing, and independence. You are helping them reclaim their lives and build a future free from fear.
Make your donation today and be part of a survivor’s path to safety.
